Megan is a true Colorado native, born and raised in Arvada. When she’s not showing houses, her Saturdays are usually spent watching her kids’ sporting events, but she also enjoys doing projects around the house, putzing around in her yard and flower gardens, shopping, and coaching volleyball. As a real estate agent, Megan is organized, hard-working, and takes the time to get to know her clients as people. She loves a good challenge and is excited to be on the Colorado Home Realty team.

Megan has been a realtor since 2015 and holds an MBA, along with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University. Prior to real estate, Megan worked as an IT project manager for 8 years in several industries including a shipping company, healthcare, a home builder, and a title company. Megan specializes in bringing her expertise and knowledge from project management to the real estate transaction, from conception to completion, and all the details, including marketing, negotiation, contract management, and communication.

She has traveled to Mexico, Tahitian Islands, Europe, Canada, and about half of our fifty states. Her dream vacation is to spend a couple of weeks at a small beachfront hotel in Greece, and then continue on to Spain, France, and Italy including the Vatican, soaking up the rich history and seeing the magnificent churches.

She and her husband Ken have five daughters who they love to talk about - each one in a very separate stage of life (from married and working to elementary school). In addition to spending time with family and traveling, Megan loves projects. She started flipping houses before it was a trend, and her first one was a house in Colorado Springs, built in 1898. She is a passionate volunteer at her kids’ schools, including Booster Club President and Fundraising Coordinator. Megan enjoys following all the Colorado professional sports teams, but has a special place in her heart for the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Dodgers. She loves green chile and enjoys a good meal at Las Delicias Mexican Restaurant. Mojitos and iced tea are her favorite drinks.

Megan’s dad, who passed away in 2020, is a big inspiration in her life. He had grace for people, loved kids and sports, and never met a stranger. He believed in healthy competition for physical, social, and emotional growth. Megan is a caring person who strives to help other people and understand what makes them tick. She likes to read thriller and suspense books, but her favorite book is Gary Chapman’s The Five Love Languages, for its interpretation of how people both express and receive love. She believes that everything happens for a reason, and her words of advice are: what you give out comes back to you, and good attracts good!
